Dr. Christopher Manning, CEO & Head of School
Dr. Manning is from Pasadena, California. He grew up in Claremont, California and Phoenix, Arizona. He is a veteran of the United States Air Force. While in the military he lived and worked in Montana, New Mexico, Washington D.C., South Korea, Germany, Kuwait, and Japan. As an international educator, he lived and worked in Kyrgyzstan and Bangladesh. He holds a BA in Management, M.Ed. in Instructional Design & Technology, Ed. Specialist degree (Ed.S.) in Educational Leadership, and a Doctor of Management degree. He completed the Harvard Graduate School of Education year-long CAEL program in 2016-2017, followed by the year-long BES Fellowship in 2018-2019. Prior to founding Buffalo Creek Academy, he led private, British international schools overseas. He and his wife have two sons.
